A contemplative self-portrait looking back in time at the various stages of my life.
My younger self has packed up and is on her way.
The apron symbolises my working life as an art teacher, potter and painter.
The gum leaves represent my love of nature, which began from a very early age and has been a constant source of inspiration and a motif throughout my artistic practice.
This work will be on display at the Glen Eira Artists Society Annual Exhibition, from 24 July to 24 August 2025 at the Glen Eira City Council Gallery.
